Home Affairs boss Mike Pezzullo has been reappointed for another term as head of Australia's most powerful government department.
Prime Minister Scott Morrison on Wednesday announced Mr Pezzullo would serve another term as secretary of Home Affairs after he was appointed in October 2014.
Chris Moraitis has also been given another term as secretary of the Attorney-General's department.
"Mr Pezzullo has served as the first secretary of the Department of Home Affairs, the creation of which was one of the largest restructures of Australia's national security apparatus since Federation," Mr Morrison said in a statement.
"I congratulate them both and look forward to continue working with them."
